In space only the crazies get to be heroes

If a guy you knew for a while suddenly told you he was your long lost brother would you believe him? If one day you caught him talking to people only he could see, wouldn't you be scared that he was a total psycho? And if he constantly got into fights that sometimes led to limb amputations, wouldn't you be pissed that he's always getting in trouble? Then if the same guy told you that the evil king of the galaxy was his dad, and by extension-yours, would you believe him? THEN WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS KISSING HIM?

It's an old joke, but my favorite Rocky Horror moment while watching Jedi is to scream out, "Then why did you french him you prev?" after Leia says "Somewhoe I've Known, I've always known..." to Luke in the Teddy Bear tree tops of Endor.

Maybe Lucas was a fan of the Horror Show, Riff Raff and Magenta in particular, so he worked it into his opus.

I was so excited this morning when I had that thought and it turns out it's not so witty or original. It's funny because as I was typing there was a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that somewhere out there, amongst all the millions of people who have ever seen that movie, throughout all the years it has been out, the statistical chance of me making any sort of fresh new observation based on that source material was probably nil. But I went ahead anyway, and sure enough I find out that not only am I not fresh, I am somewhat slow. At times like this I realize Robot Chicken is harder than it looks. At times like this I wish I had some fruit pies to distract people.

I keep kissing him in the hopes he'll take me to the Toschee station to get some "power convertors." If you know what I'm talkin' 'bout here. Eh? EH???

Evil King Macrocranios was voted king by the evil peoples of the Kingdom of Macrocrania. They listen to Iron Maiden all day and try to take pictures of ghosts with their webcams.
