I couldn't even imagine being where you are now. I just keep getting images from the White Out Graphic Novel flipping through my head. Has anyone had half a hand blown off in a tussle yet?
Thanks for pointing out the comic. I found the first issue of Whiteout in pdf format after looking it up on Wikipedia.
I think living here for a couple of seasons has made it hard for me to just enjoy the story. McMurdo as portrayed in the comic is a gritty, harsh place and I find that kind of funny. It's really not all that hardcore being here, but I am all for any thing that promotes the perception of where I'm at as interesting and mysterious.
