Great if you missed out the first time first time
Check out this solicitation of the Takara reissue Insectrons giftset for $28 from "Cartoon Passion". This set goes on ebay for over a hundred bucks all the time on eBay. If these Cartoon Passion guys really have this set brand new at this price and this isn't an outdated listing, then this is deal of the week the week.

I don't know, the site is just a little to unprofessional. Looking around it seems very odd. Anyone bought from them before?
You're right about the website design being a bit amateurish but I think they're legit. I've never bought from them but I stumbled across their site because they're going to be at an anime convention in Nebraska in mid-November. I'd guess they're reputable if they show up in public, I just don't know if they're keeping their website up to date. It's worth contacting them to ask.
I ordered a set, so I'll let you know. Prolly just pop it on ebay since these have stickers. Eeewwwwww!
gOOD LUCK! Best case scenario is they have the set totally case fresh. I think what'll probably happen is they'll admit they forgot to take the listing down months ago. Thanks for being brave and letting me know what happens.
You're welcome. I'll keep you posted. I did receive an automated confirmation e-mail.
Nothing new to report about my order. I'm starting to turn blue from holding my breath.
Well thanks for writing. I just called them and all I got was an answering machine saying they'd be gone until next Tuesday. It would be great if the order fills without any glitches. No communication at least means they haven't said no yet.
if that goes down, let a player know, because 30 bucks-ish for minty fresh insecticons?
deal.
Here's the response I get. It could go either way...
"We are sorry for the delay, as our staff is currently scattered across the country working anime conventions. Once we have someone back in the office we will update you on your order status. Thank you for your patience and we are sorry for the inconvenience."
