Zeck hadn't been to Florida in ages (if ever) so I had to jump on that. My disaster of a panel down here locally at least made for some interesting audio I think. I am glad I got a story or two out of it and maybe it would have sucked had I pressed forward in an empty room anyways.

Honestly I am completely indifferent to most everything Transformers that's come out in the last five to ten years. Lately I just have this general apathy towards anything not released in that magic window of my childhood from 1977 to 1987. There is still so much from that period to be appreciated that I missed out on the first time. It seems like a waste of time to pay attention to anything modern.

I don't think I have the capacity to like or dislike any of the new Transformers movies because I seem to have lost interest in keeping up with new stuff entirely. There's movies and books and comics and toys and viral internet marketing all tying n to tell this gigantic story. I feel so overwhelmed by the huge machine Transformers marketing has become. When I was a kid and it was new I felt like I had a handle on it and could understand it all. I devoured the stuff and could stay on top of it because there wasn't much to keep on top of or maybe my brain was faster and more spongey. I don't know if it can ever be that magical again.Evil King Macrocranioshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01693211146604544544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37301459.post-12556036061896569842014-09-21T11:59:04.259-07:002014-09-21T11:59:04.259-07:00I met Bill Sienkiewicz last year and Mike Zeck ear...I met Bill Sienkiewicz last year and Mike Zeck earlier this summer at the San Jose Big WOW Comic Fest cons. I thought Sienkiewicz was a especially personable. sorry to hear about the Tamp Bay con not working out for you that really sucks where nothing seems to be going your way after some time of anticipation for it. i don't think i ever got your take on the Transformers movies. i loved the first one but hated 2 and 3 and i didn't even bother seeing the most recent one i'll wait till it turns up at the library.Shlomo Ben Hungstienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07238927958290618109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37301459.post-1603810254491949072014-08-09T09:14:45.673-07:002014-08-09T09:14:45.673-07:00Thanks, Matt.
